QuickBooks 2009 Discontinuation with Payroll
Services and support for QuickBooks 2009 will be discontinued on May 31, 2012. After this date, payroll tax calculations will be incorrect, customers will be unable to send payroll for processing including direct deposits, and payroll subscriptions will be deactivated.
Service discontinuation means that your 2009 version of QuickBooks will no longer be supported, and you will no longer be able to access services from within your QuickBooks such as Payroll and Merchant Services. If you no longer wish to access these services you may continue to use your unsupported version of QuickBooks. Otherwise, by upgrading to a supported version of QuickBooks you will have uninterrupted access to payroll and services.
After May 31, 2012, if you have not upgraded to a supported version of QuickBooks your QuickBooks will continue to work however your payroll and support plans will not be valid.
Upgrade today for uninterrupted service.
